ENERGY STAR: Apartment Hunting Infographic
The Assignment
- ENERGY STAR® wanted to create a new resource educating apartment renters about the benefits of living in an ENERGY STAR certified community.
- The goal was to share facts and figures on the benefits of renting an ENERGY STAR certified apartment in a fun, logical, and compelling way.
The Solution
- RE Tech worked with the ENERGY STAR team to identify and document key statistics, talking points, and the desired tone for the educational piece. Together, the group decided that an infographic would allow for the sharing of this information while meeting the informal and lighthearted objectives of the piece.
- Our team then got to work building out an infographic that succinctly captured ENERGY STAR’s goals – we selected color schemes to align with ENERGY STAR brand guidelines, images to coincide with the statistics, short language snippets to detail key information, and organized all of the pieces into a cohesive and visual story.
- The end result was a valuable stakeholder engagement piece that ENERGY STAR provides to its multifamily partners as a way for them to help attract and retain residents at their ENERGY STAR certified apartment buildings.
