The Carbon Label™ is a tool that serves the investment community, communicating carbon reduction efforts in a standardized, consistent format. The label is designed to provide the market with comparable and transparent details on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and emissions reduction data for a portfolio of assets.
As more organizations make claims related to decarbonization, carbon neutrality, or net zero, there is an urgent need to understand the details—particularly when these claims are made in corporate social responsibility reports, annual sustainability reports, and stakeholder communications.
To meet this need, RE Tech Advisors developed the Carbon Label™. The Carbon Label™ allows for direct comparison of the carbon profile of multiple assets across a portfolio in order to make informed investment decisions.
